Spectrum Designs Foundation Earns SGP Certification

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) is proud to announce that Spectrum Designs Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to fostering meaningful and inclusive career opportunities for adults on the Autism Spectrum, has completed the rigorous process required to receive an SGP certification.

“On behalf of SGP and its membership, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Spectrum Designs Foundation for their unwavering commitment to sustainability,” said SGP Board Chair Theresa Vanna. “By achieving SGP certification, they have not only demonstrated leadership in environmental stewardship but also reinforced their dedication to creating inclusive opportunities within the printing industry. We applaud them for taking these significant steps and are proud to have them as part of our community.”

Earning and keeping an SGP certification speaks to Spectrum Designs Foundation’s strong belief in creating a more sustainable future. The company will be required to develop continuous sustainability improvement projects each year and pass an audit every two years to retain its certification.

“We worked hard and looked at every aspect of the organization when we applied for the certification,” said Deana Nissen, Director of Administration. “This certification is proof that the best things can be done.”

Certified SGP Facilities are recognized by both print buyers and the printing industry as an elite group of top sustainable printers.
