Print Industry Sustainability Leaders Meet at Las Vegas Conference to Celebrate Successes and Share Best Practices
The 2016 Printing Industry Sustainability Conference will showcase innovative best practices in sustainable printing for print buyers, suppliers, and industry professionals.
Las Vegas, NV – The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) has announced the full program for its 2016 Printing Industry Sustainability Conference. The conference will take place at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
SGP is recognized as a global leader in sustainability innovation and best practices for the printing industry. The organization is the premier certifying authority for sustainable printing facilities and has worked with major industry suppliers to accomplish the following:

– Diverted 78 tons of waste from landfills by increasing recycling.
– Reduced green house gas emissions by 2.42 tons.

SGP’s 2016 conference aims to bring together print professionals, buyers, and suppliers to celebrate successes, share strategies and ideas, and promote best practices for achieving a sustainable printing supply chain.
The conference will open at 8am with a breakfast panel featuring SGP manufacturing and distribution experts. The day’s sessions will include lessons in overcoming challenges and implementing green printing practices, as well as steps industry leaders can take to drive sustainability beyond SGP certification. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn and interact with international leaders in green printing, operational efficiency and sustainability.
The conference will also include opportunities for networking, peer-led case studies and round table discussions, and a keynote address from Katarina Tesarova, Vice President of Sustainability at Las Vegas Sands.
